My name is Dave Cosentino. I began woodturning as a creative outlet over 25 ago. Since retiring, I have been able to devote more time to it. I enjoy the challenge of designing a piece when starting with a freshly harvested log and seeing when the wood takes me. Indiana has a rich diversity of hardwoods to select from and I use many of them in my turnings. I do take commission works. I enjoy taking a piece of wood from a family heirloom tree and making a lasting piece of family history for future generations to enjoy. I harvest downed trees from local tree services and storm damaged timber from local sources to turn with. My Workshop is located in the Bloomington area.
I am a member of The American Association of Woodturners and their local chapter, The Village Woodturners.
You can also find my works at The Upstairs Artisans in Nashville Indiana. If additional works or custom orders are desired, please contact me at 317-366-7565
As a member of The Village Woodturners, we meet monthly in my workshop. Our focus is to promote the art of woodturning through demonstrations and a sharing of knowledge. We are open to people of all skill levels and interests.
