Bloomington Community Band

For over a decade, the Bloomington Community Band has been a well established fixture in the local arts scene, inviting residents of all backgrounds to come together and share their love of music. This ensemble welcomes new members to rehearsal every Monday from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Free Methodist Church on Lincoln Street. Within the group, some specialize in jazz, swing, Dixieland specials, and even German band music, reflecting the individual tastes of their musicians. Beyond local performances, the band has showcased its talents statewide, spreading joy wherever their harmonious notes resonate. With subgroups specializing in various genres, there’s something for everyone in this vibrant musical community.
