Welcome to Music with Audrey, your premier music studio in Bloomington, Indiana, where Audrey, a seasoned professional musician with over 13 years of teaching experience, leads the way in providing exceptional musical education.
Audrey’s passion for music education extends beyond her private studio, as she proudly serves as the Co-Director and Co-Founder of New Horizons, a thriving beginner adult orchestra in Bloomington. This vibrant ensemble meets weekly, hosts two concerts annually, and actively engages with the community through various musical events.
In addition to her role in New Horizons, Audrey’s influence reaches young talents who actively participate in the local youth orchestra, Bridges. Her students are not only dedicated but also achieve remarkable success, competing in ISSMA and consistently taking home gold medals.
As a versatile musician, Audrey contributes her talents to the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, showcasing her dedication to both teaching and performance.
Beyond orchestral pursuits, Audrey is a fervent fiddler, hosting regular workshops on fiddling and the art of jamming. Her commitment to fostering a love for this traditional form of music extends to hosting jam sessions specifically designed for newcomers.
Additionally, Audrey is in the process of building a dedicated music studio on her property. This new space will not only serve as a hub for her students but also as a welcoming center for the community, fostering a shared love for music.
Beyond the world of notes and rhythms, Audrey finds solace in the outdoors, enjoying activities like hiking, camping, paddleboarding, and sitting by the bonfire. Audrey shares her Bloomington home with her two feline companions, Taz and Maeve.

Audrey Jo Williams received her Bachelor’s degree in Double Bass Performance and Music Education, Instrumental, from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. She is both an educator and a performer, with over 11 years of experience teaching students of all skill levels, from young students to adults just picking up the instrument for the first time. Her students have won and placed in national competitions, gotten into the prestigious IU String Academy at the Jacobs School of Music as well as getting into the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra.

New Horizons Bloomington is an adult beginner orchestra that gives people of all ages an opportunity to learn to play the violin, viola, cello, or bass in a group setting. We welcome complete beginners as well as those with some experience. Members will learn the basics of playing their instrument, how to read music, and how to play with others in an ensemble.
