Watercolor, sketching and Pen and Ink artist utilizing landscape, seascape, shore birds and architectural subjects of local, regional and national areas of varied interests. Plein Air painting enthusiast. A late life interest and calling developed after over 50 years of dedication to work as a pharmacist and business manager. Art skills developed and still being acquired via Ivy Tech Lifelong Learning classes, private lessons from accomplished artist instructors and Plein Air Painting experiences.
Recent displays at Hinkle-Garton Farmstead Bloomington, Wiley Art Museum Bedford, Mitchell Persimmon Festival and Bloomfield Apple Festival Art Show. 2019 T.C Steele Great Outdoor Art Contest participant and 2nd Place Division winner. 2020 T.C. Steele Watercolor contestant recognition. Viridian Moon Gallery Show with Upland Plein Air and Bloomington Watercolor Society. Indiana Heritage Arts of Brown County- Best of Show Award for West Baden Show August 2023.
